I AM NOT THE MESSIAH

HE MUST INCREASE AND I MUST DECREASE

Daily Gospel Reading – John 1:19-28 | Daily Bible Readings"Teacher, you remember the man who was with you on the ease side of the Jordan,  the one you spoke about? Well, he is baptizing now, and everyone is going to him."  John 3:26

After this, Jesus and his disciples went to the province of Judea, where he spent some time with them and baptized. John also was baptizing in Aenon, not far from Salim, because there was plenty of water in that place. People were going to him; and he was baptizing them.  This was before John had been put to prison.
John the Baptist and JesusNow a dispute arose between the disciples of John and a Jew about ceremonial washings. So they came to John and said to him "Rabbi, the one who was with you across the Jordan, to whom you testified, here he is baptizing and everyone is coming to him.

John answered and said, "No one can receive anything except what has been give him from heaven. You yourselves can testify that I said that I am not the Messiah, but that I was sent before him.

The one who has the bride is the bridegroom; the best man, who stands and listens to him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice. So this joy mine has been made complete.

He must increase; I must decrease.JOHN :3:22-30

Father give me the heart like John the Baptist. He was dedicated to his calling as the fore runner of your Son.  He came to reveal Christ your Son.
