THE PEOPLE TESTIMONY OF CHRIST DIVINITY

SURELY THIS IS THE PROPHET JOHN 6:14-15

Seeing the miracle that Jesus had performed, the people there said.
"Surely this is the Prophet who was to come into the world" Jesus
knew they were about to come and seize him in order to make him
king by force, so he went off again in the hills by himself.

This is very touching. Christ Kingship was not of this world. 

If it were us, we would have been carried away. 

This was not the way Christ want to save us. 

 He must obey the Father's will. 

Dying on the Cross and shedding

His Blood to save us.  

"He went off again in the hills by HIMSELF." John 6:1-15

THE FATHER’S TESTIMONY, JESUS AND JOHN’S TESTIMONY

 NOTHING OF MY OWN AUTHORITY

“I can do nothing of my own authority. I judge only as God tells me, so my judgment is right, because I am not trying to do what I want, but only what he who sent me wants.

If I testify on my own behalf, what I say is not to be accepted as real proof.  But there is someone else who testifies on my behalf, and I know that what he says about me is true. John is the one to whom you sent your messengers and he spoke on behalf of the truth.  It is not that I must have a human witness, I say only in order that you may be saved.

John the Burning and Shining Lamp

 35 John was like a lamp, burning and shining, and you were willing for a while to enjoy his light. But I have a witness on my behalf which is even greater than the witness that John gave: what I do, that is, the deeds my Father gave me to do, these speak on my behalf  and show that the Father has sent me.
