GIVE ME A DRINK

CHRIST THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD

He had to pass through Samaria. So he came to a town of Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of land that Jacob had given his son Joseph.  Jacob's well was there. Jesus, tired from his journey, sat down there at the well.  It was about noon.

A woman of Samaria came to draw water.  Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink."  His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.  The Samaritan woman said to him, "How can you, a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan woman, for a drink? (For Jews use nothing in common with Samaritans.) John 4:1-41

Many more believed because o his message, and they said to the woman, "We believe now, not because of what you said, but because we ourselves have heard him, and we know that he really is the Saviour of the world. John 4:41

We ourselves have heard him, and we know that he really is the Saviour of the World. Father, God of the living, you sent Jesus Christ your Son to ransom us from death. Give me a drink of yourself Lord Jesus Christ that I may never thirst again. Your word is life, your word is the spring of water. Nourish my soul, my spirit through your Word. Draw me closer to you Lord Jesus Christ. H.G.

HE WHO COMES FROM HEAVEN

He tells what he has seen and heard, yet no one accepts his message John 3:32

He who comes from above is greater than all.  He who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly matters, but he  who comes from heaven is above all.  He tells what he has seen and heard, and no one accepts his message.

But whoever accepts his message confirms by this that God is truthful.  The one whom God has sent speaks God's words, because God gives him the fullness of his Spirit. The Father loves his Son and has put everything in his power.

Whoever believes in the Son will not have life, but will remain under God's punishment. John 3:31-36

Heavenly Father in your loving Wisdom, you sent your Son Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is your Word sent to redeem us from destruction.  He testify of His divinity. Help me understand Christ message about God's existence, God being the only and true God. Remove every doubt from my heart. Help me accept the true message of life, that I may avert God's punishment. 

Jesus is purer, Jesus is fairer.
